The 2008 edition of ACPO's UK Police Directory is available now! With the changes in the Home Office last year and the introduction of the Ministry of Justice, there continue to be major developments in UK policing. This Directory keeps track of the major and minor changes within the policing world, and our users can be sure that we are ever alert in our efforts to track all these changes in each edition, ensuring that it lives up to the quality expected of the official Directory for ACPO and continues to be relied upon by Forces across the UK. Secured by Design is an annual publication produced as a supplement to Policing Today, the official journal of ACPO (The Association of Chief Police Officers of England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
All organisations featured in this supplement are holders of a Secured by Design licence and produce one or more products which meet the technically high standards required by ACPO. This endorsement then allows the organisations to carry the SBD logo. SBD is run by ACPO as part of their national Crime Prevention Initiative.

The DMA represents the interests of UK companies, large and small, who are concerned in any way with selling products or services to government agencies or defence contractors in the UK and overseas. The DMA's annual Register provides a detailed database of products and services available in the UK for buyers worldwide.
The Register brings together suppliers and customers - including major overseas markets - in one single authoritative volume. The DMA is fully recognised by, and works closely with, the UK government. This close co-operation means that the DMA Register provided unique access to the UK defence market. The Register is circulated within the UK defence industry with government co-operation and overseas through the DMA's specific network of contacts which includes the UK's defence and commercial attaches. PMH has published the Register for the past seven years.
